Barcelona!! 🇪🇸Really lovely day! We got the @pandocruises (ad) shuttle bus (free on a select fare and a small charge on a saver fare) to the World Trade Centre. Most ports will have a shuttle bus service taking you to a central location. All the info is on the back of the horizon magazine you get delivered each evening! The timeout food market looked AMAZING but it was too early so we grabbed a drink and Stanley had a croissant as we’d literally bundled him out of bed in to the buggy 😆 then we walked up through Barcelona checking out the amazing architecture and little side streets and stumbled upon Alcoba Azul where we had some yummy tapas and of course sangria! then we walked back to the bus stop and went home to the ship! Not my usual kind of post but something that I’m proud of and has been a big part of my 2025 so far! As you may have noticed (and may have commented 🙃🤣🫣) I wasn’t a bouncer backer after having Stanley. My mum joined @foxyladiesrunningclub 6 years ago and has been nagging me to do their learn to run course where you meet up once a week for 8 weeks and chat to other ladies whilst you build up your running. Week one we couldn’t believe we had run for 3 minutes without stopping, yesterday we ran a continuous 5k and I ran it in 36:56! Even this week I was unsure I was going to be able to run more than the 15 minute intervals we’d done but I managed it! But me running 5k is not what this post is about…..‘5k is literally nothing’ ‘at that pace you’re basically walking’ ‘Forget all this stop start and just try and run’ I’ve heard it all over the last 8 weeks. Some people well meaning, some people well nasty 🤣. I am not a runner and I would never have thought I would have actually gone out on a run because i wanted to (or because I had massive FOMO from missing the group run the day before as I was so ill I couldn’t get out of bed!) but I’m actually joining the running club and have made lovely friends through the group!! Having a running coach (@generalgriggs_ 🧡) who believed in us even when we didn’t believe in ourselves made such a huge difference and I never understood my mums claims of ‘chatting the whole way round’ but after 8 weeks of talking @jessicapcraft and I finally ran out of subjects and had to shout at my mum to slow down and tell us about her night out for the last km 🤣 so the point of this post is, go and try a new hobby in 2025!!! I’ve met the best people that I would never have met anywhere else, got fitter, healthier and learned a new skill! Everyone has to start somewhere and don’t let other peoples opinions stop you from doing things!! You’re only in a race with yourself at the end of the day!! No marathons for me, just maybe a 10k and I’d like to get to a 35 min 5k and continue to enjoy my running and continue getting to know the AMAZING ladies from my course 🧡🧡

What a year! Can’t believe it’s over. Work was great but the main thing this year was of course the wedding (I still have so many little bits and bobs to share plus our wedding photos, that will all come in Jan and Feb!) and everything that went with it. Waited my whole life for a hen do and I had two! So much fun and then of course two weddings which were both better than we could have imagined! A fabulous honeymoon and then a lovely Christmassy cruise to end the year. 2025 you have a lot to live up to!!

HohoChooChooTrain ????????????Amazing day on The Polar Express! Stanley particularly loved squegeeing (a verb?) the windows and wasn’t overly happy to have to stop to see HoHoHo again ???????? A really lovely day. My niece was loving story time!! I need to get my self sorted for Xmas tomorrow! Are you ready? Are you done? Xxxx

Celebration Night ???? (ad) We had the best time at celebration night!! The photo shoots have to be a lot speedier when you’ve got a toddler but we got the shot! Stanley looked so grown up and had the best time on the dance floor! On Iona & Arvia there’s one celebration/black tie night a week and when we went on Britannia there were two per week (the dream for us would be 7 a week.????) AD - We absolutely LOVED @yasisland in Abu Dhabi, and thanks to the amazing @attractionticketsdotcom we had an action packed family adventure that we will never ever forget. ????️????☀️????????Stanley had the time of his life as we hit Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld, and Warner Bros. World. Both Ferrari World and Warner Bros. World are indoor experiences, so fully air conditioned, meaning perfect for family days out with little ones! Everything was shiny and new, spotlessly clean, friendly staff, and with everything a stones throw away, it was just so easy to have FUN! ???? There were beaches and pools, shows, character meet and greets, more delicious food than you can shake a serviette at, shopping galore, and activities and adrenalin filled rides that will make you want to book up again as soon as your plane touches down. We can’t wait to go back, and if we could give Yas Island 11 out of 10 we would! ????????????#abudhabi #themeparks #dubai #warnerbros #yasisland #waterpark #yaswaterworld #themepark
