Since my surfing injury back in the day my L5 has been killing me. Today I got a laminectomy! It’s a short recovery and when I’m feeling better I will buy a bra!

We love @pondviewfarmmv Yesterday I got on the horse to ride first to make some of the kids we were with, including my son less nervous. I had been riding for about 1 minute when an automated sprinkler came on hitting my horse in the face. He threw me off. I’ve never fallen off a horse before. I hit the ground hard. My husband hopped the fence and ran over like my own personal rodeo clown it was very sweet to see him react that way. He looked scared. Was I okay? I stood up and realized I was okay. The owner Sarah walked over to make sure I was okay. We love Sarah and the way she runs her beautiful farm. As soon as I assured her I was okay she said “okay well all the kids saw that and they’re freaked out so if you can, you need to get right back on that horse. I couldn’t imagine doing that. I laughed and then looked at the frightened kids. I took a deep breath and got my 44 year old, bad backed ass right back up on that horse and rode and trotted and it sent a message to those kids and myself. I am really proud of myself for getting right back up there. And I’m grateful to Sarah and Chris, for encouraging me. I think the only reason I didn’t have to go to the hospital is because I’m strong from doing Pilates at @body.snack ! This picture was taken after the fall. Yes my son is dressed as the flash.
