???? Endometriosis shocking stats by the numbers:• 7-10 years: Average time to get diagnosed ????• 6-8x less: Endometriosis research funding compared to diabetes ????• 1 in 10: Women are affected worldwide ????• 50%: Half of women with endo undergo unnecessary surgeries before a proper diagnosis ????This is a lead story on BBC News, yet we still haven’t seen meaningful changes in public healthcare policy. Despite some updated guidelines and reports, the systemic issues remain: delayed diagnoses, insufficient funding, and inadequate support not just for endo, but also for conditions like PCOS, fibroids, and more.We need better education, more research, and faster diagnoses — women’s health deserves more than just headlines. #EndometriosisAwareness#EndoWarrior#womenshealth

For anyone in England who has experienced the heartbreak of losing a baby before 24 weeks, the government has introduced a new baby loss certificate. This gesture may not resonate with everyone, but having gone through the loss of multiple pregnancies myself, I wanted to share it. I know this recognition would have brought me comfort, and it marks a meaningful step forward for women’s health. I may still seek this for myself and encourage you to share it with anyone in your life who might find it healing or helpful. Pregnancy loss is a deeply painful thing to experience and often leaves people with a lot of trauma, so anything that can be done to help acknowledge the magnitude of this experience feels extremely positive.Link in stories ????

It is only now that I am 15 months into my tender journey with breastfeeding that I can see this colorful journey actually began long before my body even started the magnificent biological process to produce milk. It began with my longing to become a mother, which for me was in fact a very long and painful journey as I lost multiple pregnancies. However, I believe this experience not only charged me with resilience and the spirit to keep going, but it also enriched me with a deep gratitude that in many respects has allowed me to savor every moment of my journey as a mother. I will caveat all of this by saying that being able to breastfeed one’s child is a privilege and one that many mothers do not have the luxury to do.Before having a child, I never knew how I was going to feel about breastfeeding. I had friends that didn’t breastfeed for longer than a few weeks and others who were close to 5 years. I was always fond of my breasts and didn’t love the idea of them physically changing, but I always had an inkling that my appetite for coziness might supersede my vanity. Cycle Harmony: A Journey of Kundalini & Connection ????????️Looni co-hosted a magical event with @tonyapapanikolove of @rainbomushrooms at @wsanyc ⭕️ Chelsea led us through a sharing circle focussed on menstrual health and we discussed topics such as how our first menses experience has impacted the relationship we have with our periods / cycles today and how taking a more holistic approach to our menstrual health has resulted in more relief. ????????‍♀️Tonya taught a kundalini class that focussed on stress management, burnout and nervous system support as well as a Kirtan Kriya a 12 minute mediation that changes the brain, aura, and has been scientifically proven to have anti-aging effects on the brain, body and genes. This event was such a beautiful reminder not only of the healing that can take place when women come together, but also how we should all be leaning on community as a way to manage our hormonal health. The power of authentic connection is like no other.Thank you @isabelleoooo for making it all happen ✨
