Since so many have been gagged at the Self Saboteur into Lip Service transition on the album it made sense to give them a joint post 🤝 SELF SABOTEUR was one the first songs written for my solo project with @eyelarx and produced by @frank.goldfingers @linus.goldfingers 💐 inspired by a poem I wrote when I first met my partner called ‘something has to go wrong’. I love what it evolved into together with the gang so ty 🥹💐 To make sure it fit perfectly on the album, I decided to rework it a little - shout out @starsmith for the ad prod and glorious outro/lip service transition of dreams 🙂‍↔️LIP SERVICE is cutesy filth 😂 I’m such a huge fan of @tovelo (No One Dies From Love is one of my favourite pop songs of all time) so I was so excited we got to work together 🥹 the only song on the album that was initiated without me (shout out @callmesalo 👏🏽) but I just couldn’t get it out my head. Myself, Tove Lo and producer @timfromthehouse worked on it in LA then @mnek and I finished it in London 💖 Both videos directed by the amazing @fa_fon_ 🫶🏽 Self Saboteur is the ultimate brain rot video, in my desperate need to constantly stay relevant 🤣 Lip Service welcomes you to JADESTATION - where sext sells! Wanted to give a little more insight into the songs of the album and first up is track 7. UNCONDITIONAL. This was the last song to make the record, written at a pretty shitty time. It portrays the turmoil and pain when someone you love is suffering, and the desperate willingness to fix them. The lyrics are sad, the melodies are euphoric and the production feels like you’re disco dancing on thin ice 💫 @mikesabath and @r.i.pablo - thank you for always creating such a safe space for us to pour our hearts out. Directed by @fa_fon_ 💐 The video breaks the fourth wall of many of the other videos for the album. There’ve been many times in my career where I’ve been given terrible news and just had to get on with the show, or sacrificed valuable time with family for this industry and this visualiser touches on that 🎭

My first US TV performance 🥹 Amongst other lovely things! 48 hours in New York for promo was pretty intense 🤪 tour rehearsals are well underway. Prepare to be sick of me as I post more bts of the album tracks next week 🙂‍↔️ I can’t have a Sunday roast tomorrow as I’ll be too busy - I know you know how upset that makes me 😂 have one for me pls 💖🥹
