Bringing Lucía to set was surreal while we were shooting THE RESIDENCE. I’m sure she didn’t know how important this was for me but it felt like a dream and I am so glad I got to share it with her. She was with me in the car when I got the call from my manager telling me that @shondaland and Paul William Davies have watched my tape and were offering me the role (I still cry when I remember that), she was 2 months old. We wrapped the show when she was 1. She’s been my unconditional partner on this journey. And this journey is more meaningful because she’s part of it.Thank you Paul William Davies and @shondarhimes for giving me the privilege of being part of this cast, for made feel seen and supported. Estaba conmigo en el coche cuando recibí la llamada de mi manager diciéndome que @shondaland y Paul William Davies habían visto mi vídeo y me ofrecían el papel (todavía lloro cuando pienso en eso); tenía dos meses. Terminamos la serie cuando tenía un año. Ha sido mi compañera incondicional en este viaje. Y este viaje es aún más significativo porque ella forma parte de él.Gracias, Paul William Davies y @shondarhimes, por darme el privilegio de formar parte de este elenco, por hacerme sentir vista y apoyada. Los quiero y les estaré eternamente agradecida.

So many great memories from this trip to Aspen, specially from last night at the #AspenSnowBall Gala. Thank you for letting me be part of such a magical and special evening that I’m sure is going to change the lives of so many children thanks to The Children’s Oncology Support Fund @cosf_foundation and the hard work of @filmingthomas and his incredible team. It was truly an honor to witness the impact of this event in the community. Also, I met new friends and had the privilege of being in Aspen for the very first time in my life❄️❄️❄️So… yes. GRACIAS a un año maravilloso en el que me demostré a mí misma muchas cosas que logré que jamás pensé que iban a pasar. Entre ellas esto de balancear la vida de mamá, actriz, esposa y productora y salir victoriosa en el intento. Sin @szuleta no lo hubiera podido lograr, sin mi familia y amigos y por supuesto sin Lucía, mi mayor regalo, tampoco. Aquí estoy emocionada del año que viene y de todo lo que podemos hacer!
