Wallis Annenberg was always who I wanted to be when I grew up. Getting to spend time with her, to know her, to learn from her- was a highlight of my life. She transformed many parts of LA through her philanthropy in the areas of education, the arts, health care, and community engagement. She gave away hundreds of millions of dollars. She championed underserved communities in Los Angeles. She had a wicked sense of humor and was the smartest person I know. She cared about everyone- and especially effective philanthropy. Her commitment to kindness was unparalleled. Do yourself a favor and look up some of her accomplishments- it will inspire you. I will forever try to be like her. 💔

House of Lies is now on @netflix for a whole new audience to enjoy. We made the pilot of this show 15 years ago for Showtime, it ran for five seasons and we had an absolute blast making it. The cast is incredible. Writing and directing is awesome. It gets R rated fast, has twist and turns and evolves with each season. Enjoy our little time capsule.
