@lilireinhart is exactly where she wants to be. 🤍 For Marie Claire’s Next Gen Issue, our cover star welcomed @eiffeltyler into her California home. She opens up about protecting her peace in a demanding industry, her dreams of a domestic life, and the projects that truly light her up. Her breakout role as Betty Cooper on #Riverdale catapulted Reinhart into the spotlight. With the show’s increasingly wild plotlines, the cast got to dabble in just about every acting style imaginable—giving Reinhart what she calls a “runway of experience” to dazzle across genres. Reflecting on the show’s seven season run, she says: “Call the show crazy. It was. It gave me so much, and I’m so thankful for it. I’m not delusional to the fact that I’m sitting in my house because of ‘Riverdale.’ I’m not embarrassed of it.” Now, two years after the CW drama’s finale, Reinhart is flexing the acting muscles it helped her build—with several genre-spanning projects under her belt. She’s already filmed three movies this year—comedic thriller ‘The Very Best People,’ an adaptation of the best-selling romance novel ‘The Love Hypothesis,’ and the horror movie ‘Forbidden Fruits.’ She’s also ramping up on press for indie family dramedy, ‘Hal & Harper,’ which she calls the “most special thing” she’s ever done. The series, which began airing on @mubi in October, also stars Mark Ruffalo and Betty Gilpin, and was written and directed by Cooper Raiff. When she’s not on set, Reinhart is just as busy reading scripts for her production company, Small Victories, and joining Zoom meetings for her skincare brand Personal Day.
