Around this time 11 years ago I decided to stop doing everything fun… jk…. I thought maybe waking up without a cigarette and a hangover could be fun. And it was. So I did it again. And again and again. And you know what else? It’s great for your skin 😏 Happy 4,019 days without a drink and 4,028 days without a cigarette to me!

Last night was so fun. Thank you @jaimiealexander. I may have lived in LA for almost two decades but I NEVER stopped being a @nyknicks fan. While my first love will always be @johnstarksfoundation, I ???????? this “3” @jhart. ???????????? oh and the snacks were top tier! ????I told @jaimiealexander I liked the second photo of us but she liked me smiling- and now I think she might have been right…. Hmmm. ???? thoughts?

“I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” Maya Angelou   In this case we will remember everything you said, everything you did, but most importantly: always remember how you made us feel…… I don’t think I will ever be able to put into words how much love and respect I have for this man; thankfully, far more eloquent people will be doing just that; I can only say to know him is such a honour and a glimpse into how he made such epic art. His heart and his spirit so open, so open to learning new things, knowing new people, and sharing his experience and wisdom. I have learned, over the years, that meeting your heroes is over-rated and generally a quick trip to disappointment city, but not with Quincy Jones. Quincy is one of a handful of people to have legitimately earned the title of Legend and to honor that title with his actions. He had so much light in him; it danced in his eyes when he spoke and filled every room he graced. He made everyone feel special, he could be in a room of superstars and royalty and still be as gracious to me as he was to the waiter and then back to the King. I can’t believe I won’t get to laugh with him over “old man jellybeans” again. I’m sure I’ll think of a thousand more things to say, but for now- my heart goes out to his family and everyone else feeling this profound loss. All the love to you, Mr Quincy Jones.

Winter is coming…..
