My fitness and health journey as of 2020It has been such a journey for me let’s go back to 2020 I got to the biggest @ that time that I had been which was 135 pounds I tried to lose weight with everything I had learned and was having issues losing weight. In Aug 2020 I decided to get lipo of my stomach, flanks and inner thighs I started to detox my body to get ready for surgery by the time Aug 31 came I was @ 123 which was only 3 pounds from my normal weight. I should have cancel the surgery but went thru it anyway the dr got a litter of fat out. Fast forward to 6 months I ended up gaining 22 pounds from the date of surgery I couldn’t believe my eyes ???? the struggle was real. I thought the weight gain was from the breast implants so in April of 2022 I removed my implants thinking that all the symptoms I was having was from that. Well it turns out all the symptomsWere from going thru perimenopause which could start @ the age of 35 and not a lot of people are talking about this subject. I continue to struggle with my weight feeling uncomfortable in this body not knowing what was going on everything I did to try to lose weight. Nothing would help. In May I decided to try a compound version of a GLP-1 Peptide called Semaglutide I took my first shot on May 30,2024 I was 142 pounds BMI 25.5 / Waist 29.5 /Hip 42 The dr said I would lose 4 pounds in a month but I only lost 1 pounds ( they started me @ a low dosage ) next month same thing only lost 1 pound. Month 3 I asked to move me to a higher dosage cuz I wasn’t losing weight. I didn’t start to drop good weight until Aug when I was switch to 1.5ml. I also had my blood work done the end of July and everything came back perfect first time in the last 10yrs. I been off the shots for 2 weeks because I reached my weight of 121. Today I’m currently @ 120.3 BMI 22.2 waist is 25 hips 38. (The after pic is from last Friday when I was 122.) I know both sizes are fine but I prefer myself smaller frame more of an athletic look, slim thick. The goal is to be the healthiest version of myself inside and out. ❤️ also side note when I started modeling @ FHM I was only 110 pounds
