Congratulations, Drake! Drake surpassed Adele’s record at this year’s Billboard Music Awards which were held on Sunday. The star got 13 wins.
The 29-year-old performer from Great Britain set her record with 12 wins 5 years ago. 30-year-old Drake overcame Adele after winning the Top Artist category at the event held in Las Vegas at the T-Mobile Arena.
The whole family od Drake was present at the event. Denis Graham, his father, Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne came to support the star from Canada.
Besides, the singer got the Top Male Artist and Billboard 200 Album (Views) categories.
Other stars who received their big awards that night were Blake Shelton, Twenty One Pilots, The Chainsmokers, Kenny Chesney and Beyoncé. The last star did not show up at the event. Obviously, Beyoncé did not come because she is expecting twins.
