Top Gun Sequel Will Definitely Happen, Says Tom Cruise

Tom Cruise stated that the famous Top Gun will get its sequel.

Cruise will start filming in 2018. It’s definitely happening, the star assured us.

The 54-year-old star will reprise his role in the famous film. He performed fighter pilot Pete “Maverick” Mitchell.

The film that dates back to 1986, also starred Kelly McGillis. She acted as Maverick’s girlfriend. Other stars are Val Kilmer (he played “Iceman”, the bad boy in the film), Anthony Edwards (acting as “Goose”) and Meg Ryan (she performed Goose’s wife).

Last year Tom attended The Graham Norton Show. Then he spoke about the sequel with Jerry Bruckheimer, the producer.
