Jennifer Lopez told her own #MeToo story. It was about her experience when her career as an actress started.
The 48-year-old actress gave an interview to Harper’s Bazaar this month. According to Jennifer she has not been abused, but she has been told to take off her shirt and show her boobs. However, the star did not agree to do it.
Lopez recollects she was terrified during the incident.
The star has been using her platform to speak about different issues. She donated $1 million to relief efforts after Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico. Later on she and her boyfriend travelled there to help. Jennifer also expressed support for the Time’s Up Movement in a press conference.
