Mariah Carey in an interview with PEOPLE admitted that she was preparing a surprise for the fans.
The singer will soon introduce a new album. About his feelings while working on it, Carrie said:
"I feel that I am now in a period of my life when I can fully express myself as a writer and singer. I just feel so good".
About what new songs will be, Mariah also shared with PEOPLE:
"My fans want to hear how I express myself, want to hear me talking from the heart and singing with my heart. Some of the compositions will be light and cheerful, while others will be lyrical. It will be a mixture of different things".
