American singer Rihanna sued her father for using her Fenty brand name for commercial purposes.
Rihanna accused her father of creating a company to find talent Fenty Entertainment. According to the singer, her father ignored repeated requests not to use her name for profit. The lawsuit also states that Fenty Entertainment has announced its relationship with Rihanna to raise funds.
In addition, father tried to register the name Fenty for a hotel chain, but Rihanna’s company did it before. He also tried to negotiate a singer's tour in Latin America with SBS Entertainment, which offered him more than $15 million.
