According to the singer, many took her songs about personal relationships and breakups lightly and thought that Taylor had no talent for writing songs.
'My songwriting was perceived as fun, but not as a skill and craft. I came across this quite early, and this was the first time I realized what injustice was. If a woman in show business wants to love, money, and success, this is considered something wrong. Women shouldn't want all these things, unlike men,' said Taylor.
