Robin Crawford, the best friend of singer Whitney Houston, has released a memoir about their relationship 'A Song For You. My Life With Whitney Houston.'
Here, Robin first reported that they were more than friends in the early 1980s. Robin said that when they met, the singer was about 17, and Robin turned 19. It happened in a summer camp where both girls were in charge.
"I'll take care of you," Robin promised to the future star. Crawford's memoir states that they wanted to be together, but Whitney terminated their intimate relationship shortly after she signed with producer Clive Davis and became a superstar.
