On Sunday, Eva Mendes posted an archival photo on Instagram, in which she is walking on the beach in a black dress.
"I was running on the beach this morning," she joked in her signature to the post. Then the actress explained: "Actually no. This picture was taken at least 15 years ago. This year I did not see the beach. This year I did not run."
One fan in response to this post wrote, "You need to tell Ryan to take you out into the world more often," referring to the celebrity's husband, Ryan Gosling, with whom he has been together for about nine years and raising two children.
"No, thank you, I'm fine. It's better to be home with my husband than anywhere else in the world," Mendes said.
