The British writer Joanne Rowling will partly publish a fairy tale called The Ickabog, a manuscript of which has been in her attic for many years.
Rowling herself announced this on her Twitter page, emphasizing that this work is not related to the universe, in which the action of the series of novels about Harry Potter takes place.
Almost nothing is known about the plot of the tale. According to Rowling, "this is a story about truth and abuse of power," written more than ten years ago, but never published. The full text of the work can be read free of charge on a specially created site, but in November 2020, the story will be published in the paper, electronic and audio versions.
