There is a 20-year difference between the actors, but it did not prevent them from finding common ground from the beginning of the filming process. Tom Cruise broke up with Katie Holmes back in 2012 and has not been seen in a serious relationship.
A colleague of the actors on set describes their relationship this way to The Sun:
"The isolation and all the difficulties associated with it brought them even closer together, and they became practically inseparable. They met after hours of filming, and the girl was at his house in the London area. They get along great, and they both seem very happy."
