Forty-year-old reality superstar Kim Kardashian has filed for divorce from rapper Kanye West.
According to Associated Press court sources, it happened today, Feb. 20, in Los Angeles.
It is noted that the divorce process after seven years of living together is proceeding peacefully. The couple has already agreed to share legal and physical custody of their four children: daughters North, seven, and Chicago, two, and sons, five-year-old St. and 18 months old Psalm. The publication notes that the couple began legal talks back in January.
The popular TMZ portal was the first to report news of the couple's divorce, which has been rumored for several weeks, The Guardian writes. Sources close to the couple said the split was "inevitable." Kardashian's interests will be represented in court by divorce lawyer Laura Wasser.
Recall, the couple began dating in 2012. The first child was born in 2013. The marriage took place in May 2014. For the Kardashians, this is their third divorce.
