The owner of a cosmetics company and Kim Kardashian's younger sister Kylie Jenner became the first woman to have 300 million followers on Instagram.
Ms. Jenner is the owner of Kylie Cosmetics, founded in 2015 to sell cosmetics online. In 2019, Forbes named her the world's youngest billionaire.
Previously the most famous woman on Instagram, Singer Ariana Grande is now in second place with singer Selena Gomez. Both have 289 million followers each.
But Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo remains the most famous man on Instagram. He now has more than 388 million followers.
