Beyoncé and Jay-Z Clash in 2025 Emmy Categories

Beyoncé and Jay-Z find themselves in a competitive spot within the 2025 Emmy nominations.

Both powerhouses secured nominations in the Outstanding Variety Special (Live) category on July 15.

Nomination Details

Beyoncé earned her nomination for the Netflix NFL Halftime spectacle, Beyoncé Bowl. Meanwhile, Jay-Z, in collaboration with Dave Free, was nominated as an executive producer for the Apple Music Super Bowl LIX Halftime Show featuring Kendrick Lamar.

They are up against other prominent contenders such as The Oscars, SNL50: The Anniversary Special, and SNL50: The Homecoming Concert.

Previous Achievements

Jay-Z previously won in this category in 2022 for his role in producing the Apple Music Super Bowl LVI Halftime Show, which included performances by Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Eminem, Kendrick, and 50 Cent.

The outcome of this face-off between Beyoncé and Jay-Z will be revealed in September. The couple, married since 2008, are no strangers to sharing memorable moments during award seasons.
