Heidi Klum’s Medusa Makeover for Halloween 2025: A Multi-Month, Team-Driven Transformation
Heidi Klum once again reigns as Halloween royalty, stepping out in a full Medusa ensemble beside her husband Tom Kaulitz, who appears as a stone faced warrior, at her 2025 party in New York.
Behind the Look
Development of the Greek myth inspired duo began five months ahead of the event, with a team of roughly 15 artisans painting, sculpting and assembling every component. The entire outfit is hand painted, featuring moving snakes perched on Heidi's head, a scaly tail, and Tom sporting a gray stone like exterior to complete the theme.
Getting into character took about 10 hours for both of them, and Heidi has long harbored an interest in Medusa. The design aims for a terrifying presence with animated serpents, a menacing face and an elongated rattlesnake silhouette.
Tom's Part
Tom Kaulitz notes that his main task is to harmonize with Heidi's look. While last year included an E T themed concept that required collaboration, this year the objective was clear: he embodies the stone figure while the team handles the rest of the details.
Heidi adds that you can still catch a hint of her familiar features beneath the sculpture, adding a touch of humor to the transformation.
At the Party
Themed revelry extended beyond the couple, drawing attention from other stars in attendance such as Charli D Amelio, Coco Jones, Julia Fox, James Charles and Jonathan Van Ness, all in show stopping costumes.
