Kendall Jenner Discloses the Career She Might Abandon for Her True Passion

Kendall Jenner is not just a prominent figure in the fashion industry; she's also laying the groundwork for her own business endeavors.

Despite her achievements on the runway, Kendall has hinted at a significant career shift, indicating that she might take a break from modeling to focus on a different path.

“Seriously, I might just pause everything to dedicate myself to designing homes,” Kendall shared with Vogue during her interview on September 8. “It’s something I’m genuinely considering.”

The 29-year-old has already taken steps towards this ambition by embarking on a personal project: constructing her own residence.

“I adore my current home in LA, yet I’m also drawn to a more minimalist lifestyle,” she elaborated. “Mornings are best spent in a swimsuit or sweatpants, no makeup, and enjoying the freedom of the day.”

Kendall’s venture into home design has also attracted interest from friends in the industry. Her close friend, Gigi Hadid, mentioned to the magazine, “Kendall is one of the few people I trust to design my home.”

Challenges and Rewards in the Modeling World

Kendall has previously opened up about the highs and lows of her modeling career, acknowledging that her journey has not been without its difficulties.

“While I’m incredibly grateful for my opportunities, there have been tough times, like being overworked or missing out on roles I was passionate about,” she remarked on Emma Chamberlain’s Anything Goes podcast in August 2024.

The demanding nature of modeling often leads to periods of isolation, as Kendall confessed to having difficult nights alone in unfamiliar cities.

“There were nights I cried myself to sleep, being away from home for months and feeling pretty isolated,” she shared.

Nevertheless, she also emphasized the positive aspects of her career.

“Traveling the world as I have been is truly amazing. I’ve met so many incredible people and experienced things I wouldn’t have otherwise,” Kendall stated.
