Kim Kardashian Remembers Childhood Friend Lindsay May with Heartfelt Tribute

Kim Kardashian is paying a touching homage to a dear friend from her early years.

The reality TV icon commemorated Lindsay May, an entertainment consultant and member of her close-knit "Lifers" circle, through a sincere post almost eight months after Lindsay's untimely passing.

In her July 6 Instagram carousel, filled with snapshots from a 2024 lakeside getaway with Lindsay and their families, Kim began with, "It was just your birthday and I know you never liked to make a big deal of it, but Happy Heavenly Birthday, Lindz." She continued, explaining her delay in posting due to struggling to find the right words, and expressed the void left in their group chat without Lindsay.

Memories from the Lake Trip

Kim, who had previously shared that Lindsay succumbed to cancer, reflected on how their recent gathering felt different without her presence.

"The lake was your happy place. It made you feel lighter, healthier… you were you," wrote Kim, founder of SKIMS. "It’ll always be our favorite lifers tradition because it’s where we spend time with all of our kids being together and get real time with each other without any outside noise. We felt your absence this year in every sunset, every laugh, every quiet moment."

Keeping Lindsay's Memory Alive

She concluded by expressing how the Lifers—comprising Allison Statter, Zoe Winkler, Sarah Meyer Michaelson, Ashley Kassan, and Simone Harouche—deeply miss Lindsay and cherish their shared memories.

"Looking back at these pictures from a year ago, I feel so grateful for all the memories we made," Kim shared. "We miss you so f--king much, Lindz. Our world is not the same without you. I guess that’s why I hold onto this lake tradition so tightly. We’ll always have the lake — and in that, we’ll always have a piece of you."

In addition to her tribute, Kim promoted a fundraiser initiated by Simone, featuring limited edition Citizens of Humanity jeans named "The Linz" to support cancer research in memory of Lindsay.

Reflecting on her emotions, Kim stated, "Felt like I was in a daze a lot of the time, but also felt grateful for every second of this life (another cliche, but also very true). You are always with me. I feel you all the time." She emphasized the depth of her feelings by commenting, "I felt this so deep."
