Kim Kardashian Unveils Subtle Lip Tattoo on Television Appearance

During the September 24 episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Kim Kardashian provided fans with a rare glimpse of her lip tattoo, showcasing the tiny infinity symbol as she pulled down her bottom lip.

Breaking Her Own Rules

Although Kim has previously stated, "You should never put a bumper sticker on a Bentley," she admitted that tattoos were initially against her personal ethos while growing up. However, in her October 2021 appearance on Saturday Night Live, she shared that she doesn't regret her decision to get the lip tattoo.

Support from Friends and Discreet Placement

"I got it with all my friends," Kim revealed, reflecting positively on the experience. "All my girls came and supported." The SKIMS founder also mentioned, "I got it in my mouth so that no one would see it."

The tattoo is so discreet that Kim sometimes forgets she has it. "Sometimes I’ll be flossing and then I’ll see something dark in my mouth, and I’ll be like, 'Oh, my God! What is that?! I’m gonna die,'" she explained.

A Shared Experience with Friends

The revelation of her lip tattoo first came to light in 2023 during an episode of The Kardashians, where Kim shared the big secret with her hairstylist, Chris Appleton.

"You guys, something you don't know about me," she began. "Me and all my friends got matching tattoos."

While her friends opted for tattoos on their hands, Kim chose a different spot. "Everyone got them on their hands and I was like, 'There's no shot I will get a tattoo,'" she reflected. However, she eventually embraced the idea, as shown in the evening's footage where Kim stated, "This is how you celebrate SNL, with a little tattoo at 4:30 in the morning."
