Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Attend World Mental Health Gala

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry enjoyed a charming evening together.

The couple attended Project Healthy Minds' third World Mental Health Day Gala in New York City on October 9, where they were bestowed with the Humanitarians of the Year Award in recognition of their impactful work with the Archewell Foundation.

For the occasion, Meghan opted for an elegant black suit paired with a black handbag, a gold link necklace, and diamond stud earrings. Prince Harry, a proud father to their children Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4, complemented her look in a black suit, white shirt, and a black-and-white tie.

Just under three weeks before the gala, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex appeared at the One805LIVE! 2025 concert, a charity event supporting first responders, held at Kevin Costner's Summerland estate in California.

Recent Family Engagements

Beyond their appearances at the gala and concert, the former royals have been actively involved in family matters. Notably, Prince Harry reunited with his father, King Charles III, on September 10—marking their first meeting in 19 months.

In an interview with The Guardian on September 14, Harry emphasized that his primary focus for the coming year is on his relationship with his father. He also expressed a desire to bring his children to the UK to meet the monarch, especially after King Charles III was diagnosed with cancer last year.

Ongoing Legal and Family Matters

In May, following a Court of Appeals decision against restoring his UK security, Prince Harry shared insights into his strained relationship with his family, expressing hope for reconciliation. He stated to the BBC, “I would love reconciliation with my family. There’s no point in continuing to fight anymore, life is precious.”

He also mentioned uncertainty about his father's health and reiterated his wish to mend their relationship.
