Nicole Kidman Makes Public Appearance Following Divorce Submission from Keith Urban

Nicole Kidman recently emerged in public, marking her first outing after filing for divorce.

Just one day after initiating divorce proceedings against Keith Urban after nearly two decades of marriage, the Big Little Lies star showed she’s finding support in her family by going on a hike in Nashville with her sister, Antonia Kidman.

Photographed by Daily Mail on October 1st, Nicole opted for a comfortable look suitable for outdoor activities, donning black leggings paired with a gray athletic zip-up and sneakers. She completed her relaxed ensemble with a coordinating gray hat and black sunglasses, exuding a subdued daytime vibe.

During their walk, Nicole was observed engaging in an animated conversation with Antonia, who was attentively listening while wearing a pink top and loose-fitting tan pants.

While Nicole navigates the breakup with her sister’s support, her eldest daughter, Sunday Rose, was not present at home. On October 1st, the 17-year-old was in Paris participating in Fashion Week as a Dior model.

The day before her public outing, Nicole submitted divorce papers to end her marriage with Keith, 57, citing "irreconcilable differences," as reported by E! News.

This filing came shortly after E! News discovered that the couple, who married in 2006 after a year of dating, had been separated since early summer, despite Nicole’s initial reluctance to separate.

Although the decision to divorce may have started on Nicole’s end, both parties have since agreed on a co-parenting arrangement for their daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, 14.

Weeks before filing for divorce, Nicole and Keith agreed on a long-term parenting plan, which allocates 306 days annually to Nicole as the "primary residential parent" and 59 days to Keith, according to documents obtained by E!.

Meanwhile, Keith has continued his musical career, launching his world tour at the beginning of summer with an upcoming performance in Hershey, Pennsylvania, scheduled for October 2nd.

Neither Keith nor Nicole have publicly addressed their separation. However, Keith altered lyrics in his song "The Fighter," originally inspired by his relationship with Nicole, during a recent performance. Instead of singing, "When they're tryna get to you, baby I'll be the fighter," he sang, "When they're tryna get to you, Maggie, I'll be your guitar player," as captured in a video shared by his touring guitarist, Maggie Baugh, on Instagram on September 27th.
