The Instagram post dated August 1 humorously claimed, “Shortly after ending his engagement with Katy Perry, Orlando Bloom was seen enjoying a meal with Angela Merkel on Friday. An insider noted, ‘Angela had Orlando laughing throughout the evening—he couldn’t take his eyes off her!’ The duo was pictured enjoying wine, oysters, and a lavish chocolate layer cake at a Michelin-starred venue.”

Reacting to the AI-generated image and witty narrative, Orlando expressed his amusement by posting several clapping emojis in the comments section.

The rumors surrounding Katie and Justin's romance emerged just over a month after her split from fiancée Orlando Bloom, with whom she shares their four-year-old daughter, Daisy Dove.

In a July 3 statement to E! News, their representatives stated, “In light of the recent buzz and discussions about Orlando Bloom and Katy Perry’s relationship, we confirm that Orlando and Katy have been adjusting their relationship dynamics over the past few months to prioritize co-parenting.”

“They remain a visible family unit, as their main focus is, and always will be, nurturing their daughter with love, stability, and mutual respect,” the statement added.
