The renowned Tom Brady has formally dismissed circulating rumors concerning his stance on dating Sofía Vergara.

At 47, the seven-time Super Bowl champion took a stand against claims that he deems Vergara, aged 53, as 'too old' to pursue a romantic relationship. A spokesperson for Brady emphasized that the athlete "would never" make such remarks, labeling the notion as entirely fictional.

"Tom has never expressed and would never express sentiments like this," the representative stated to People on July 10. "These allegations are completely baseless."

This clarification appears to address rumors propagated by an unnamed source who suggested that Brady has no intentions of entering a serious relationship with Vergara.

According to the source cited by Daily Mail, although Brady finds Vergara attractive and her type, he is not interested in initiating a relationship due to her being older and perceived as set in her ways.

The speculation about a potential relationship between Brady and Vergara ignited earlier in the month when the actress shared a photo featuring both of them dining with musician J Balvin on a luxury yacht filled with celebrities.

In her July 1 Instagram post recounting her boating trip—which also included personalities like Kendall Jenner, Ricky Martin, and Jenna Lyons—Vergara captioned the photo, "What a perfect weekend full of surprises!"

Attempts by E! News to obtain comments from their respective representatives regarding the romance rumors were not met with a response.
