Arnold Schwarzenegger Stars as Santa Claus in The Man With The Bag Teaser Trailer
Three decades after his memorable holiday outing in Jingle All The Way, Arnold Schwarzenegger is returning to Christmas cinema in the upcoming Prime Video holiday heist feature The Man With The Bag. Helmed by Hairspray director Adam Shankman, the production pairs the veteran action icon with Alan Ritchson and Awkwafina for a comedic caper.
A newly debuted teaser trailer offers an initial glimpse of the 79-year-old actor sporting the traditional red-and-white suit and a full white beard as Santa Claus. The brief footage highlights knit sweaters, unruly elves, and Schwarzenegger delivering a trademark spirited delivery of his catchphrase, declaring that he is back.
The film's plot centers on a crisis at the North Pole when Santa's signature magical sack is swiped by a disgruntled rogue elf played by Awkwafina. With the holiday deadline looming, Father Christmas must turn to an unlikely ally: an experienced thief from his Naughty List, portrayed by Ritchson. Together with a band of skilled misfits alongside helper elves and reindeer, the duo organizes an elaborate heist to recover the stolen bag and save the season.
Amazon characterizes the holiday feature as a lighthearted adventure exploring themes of second chances and unexpected alliances when Father Christmas requires backup to pull off his biggest night. The Man With The Bag is scheduled to premiere exclusively on Prime Video on December 2.
