Dua Lipa Shares the First Glimpse of Her Sicilian Wedding to Callum Turner
Dua Lipa has finally given fans a first look at her wedding celebration with Callum Turner in Sicily. After the couple exchanged vows in a London courthouse on May 31 with only close family and friends present, they later marked the occasion with a lavish weekend gathering in Palermo that drew guests including Charli XCX, Joe Alwyn, Donatella Versace, and others.
Two weeks after the June 5 ceremony, the singer shared a series of personal photos from the day on June 20. With a simple “Mr & Mrs” caption, she let the images tell the story, offering views of both their outfits, tender couple portraits, and scenes of the newlyweds celebrating and dancing with friends.
One of the most notable revelations from the event was Dua’s collaboration with Chanel on her bridal gown. The fashion house said it was delighted to dress her for the occasion and noted that this was the first wedding design created by creative director Matthieu Blazy for a friend of the brand.
Chanel also disclosed the extraordinary craftsmanship behind the dress, saying it featured 480,000 hand-sewn beads, trompe l’oeil jewel details that required 1,155 hours of work, and a lining made with 25,000 feathers. She completed the look with custom satin shoes by Massaro.
Following the wedding, Dua and Callum stayed in Italy for their honeymoon, later continuing their trip along the Amalfi Coast. The couple, who began dating in 2024, have been open about their relationship, including the unusual way they first connected through Hernán Diaz’s novel Trust.
In a recent interview, Turner said they try to spend as much time together as possible, explaining that being with someone should feel creatively and emotionally inspiring. He also shared that he and Dua bond over the art they admire and exchange ideas from their shared interests.
