Khloe Kardashian Shares Son Tatum's Special Nickname for Grandma Kris Jenner

Khloe Kardashian's young son, Tatum Thompson, carries a heartfelt connection to her late father, Robert Kardashian Sr.

The reality star shared that her 3-year-old boy, whom she shares with ex Tristan Thompson, uses a unique term of endearment for his grandmother, Kris Jenner, echoing a special name once used by Robert himself.

During a February 4 episode of Khloe in Wonderland, Khloe explained to Long Island Medium's Theresa Caputo, "My mom is usually called Lovey by the kids, but my son Tatum calls her Honey."

Khloe added that Kris would become emotional whenever Tatum used that nickname, saying, "She'd start crying because that's what your dad used to call me."

Interestingly, none of the family encouraged Tatum to call Kris 'Honey,' which leads Khloe to believe there’s a spiritual bond between her father and son.

"Tatum shares so many traits with my dad," Khloe noted. "It’s really uncanny."

This isn't the first time Khloe has drawn parallels between her son and her late father. In 2023, she highlighted how Tatum, Robert, and her brother Rob Kardashian share similar personalities.

Khloe described Tatum as, "the sweetest and most affectionate little boy" and said he reminds her of both her dad and brother, calling it a beautiful resemblance.

She also mentioned Tatum’s witty, sarcastic humor, a trait she attributes to Robert’s famously dry and silly comedic style, as she discussed on a 2024 episode of SHE MD. "Seeing my dad’s qualities in Tatum is so strange but amazing," she said.

Kris Jenner fully embraces the idea of a supernatural connection, sharing on The Kardashians last year that Tatum sometimes talks to his grandfather in spirit, despite never having met him.

"It’s incredible to hear a 3-year-old speak about conversations with his grandfather," Kris commented. "It feels extraordinary."
