Kim Kardashian Shares How She Continues to Show Support for Kanye West
Kim Kardashian still holds appreciation for Kanye West’s fashion endeavors despite their split.
Three years after finalizing her divorce with the rapper, Kim revealed her admiration for a specific pair of high-heeled boots from Kanye’s YEEZY collection.
In a TikTok video posted on January 6, she shared her New Year’s Day outfit from Aspen, Colorado, saying, “I paired these pants with my YEEZY boots. Honestly, there’s just nothing like a YEEZY heel.”
She also mused, “I’m not sure if these were ever released or if they were made just for me.”
Although Kim—mother to North West (12), Saint West (10), Chicago West (7), and Psalm West (6)—remains a fan of Kanye’s footwear, she has openly discussed the difficulties that contributed to the end of their marriage.
On the Call Her Daddy podcast with Alex Cooper in October, Kim expressed, “There were many issues I couldn’t accept. I didn’t want to tolerate negativity directed at my children’s family members. If those feelings exist, then we shouldn’t be together.”
She also touched on Kanye’s bipolar disorder diagnosis in 2016, which brought about challenging moments, including when he reportedly bought and gifted away several Lamborghinis.
“I’d come home and all the cars would be gone,” she recalled. “Then at another time, there would suddenly be five more Lamborghinis, only for them to disappear again during another episode.”
Kim admitted she felt unsafe both emotionally and financially during those turbulent times.
“Not knowing what to expect each day was deeply unsettling,” she said, emphasizing that the unpredictable nature of their life was a major strain.
A Look Back at Their Journey
Before they were officially a couple, Kim supported Kanye by attending his March 2012 Paris Fashion Week show, often wearing his designs.
Their relationship milestones include appearances at the 2012 BET Awards, a Mexico trip, and Kim’s attendance at the 2013 Met Gala while pregnant.
They welcomed their first child, North West, in June 2013, followed by an engagement proposal in October that year.
Their wedding took place in 2014, after which they frequently appeared together on red carpets, including the Grammys and MTV Video Music Awards, where Kanye announced a presidential run.
The couple expanded their family with Saint in 2015, Chicago via surrogate in 2018, and Psalm in 2019.
Throughout their years together, they shared numerous public moments: Kanye’s Yeezy fashion shows, Kim’s custom Met Gala looks, family Halloween costumes, and intimate vow renewals involving their children.
Despite challenges, their journey was marked by shared celebrations such as the 2019 FGI Night Of Stars Gala and holiday gatherings with their children.
Though their marriage ended, Kim’s acknowledgment of Kanye’s influence on her style shows a lasting respect for his creative work.
