Sabrina Carpenter Surprises Fans by Inviting Madonna for a Memorable Coachella Collaboration

Sabrina Carpenter and Madonna shared an unforgettable stage moment during Coachella’s second weekend.

On April 17, the singer of "Espresso" surprised fans by inviting the legendary "Like a Virgin" star to join her performance.

Madonna made her entrance while Sabrina was performing her latest track "Juno." The 26-year-old artist, dressed in a sparkling bodysuit paired with a white winged cape and matching heels, sang part of her song before transitioning into a segment featuring Madonna’s classic 1990 hit "Vogue."

The 67-year-old pop icon appeared wearing a striking purple mini dress with a corset waist, accompanied by opera gloves and heeled boots, eliciting enthusiastic cheers from the crowd as captured in a video posted on April 18.

To complete her outfit, Madonna added a leather jacket, thigh-high purple stockings, and protective glasses, enhancing her festival-ready look.

The duo’s electrifying set continued as they performed "Like A Prayer" together, followed by an exclusive preview of an unreleased song from Madonna’s forthcoming album Confessions on a Dance Floor: Part II.

After the performance, Madonna expressed gratitude to Sabrina for the invitation.

“Sabrina, thank you for having me join your show,” Madonna said, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Sabrina responded warmly, “No thanks needed, Madonna. You can have whatever you want.”

Reflecting on her own history with Coachella, Madonna shared the significance of the moment.

“Twenty years ago today, I performed at Coachella for the first time in the dance tent, debuting Confessions on a Dance Floor: Part I in the US. It was an incredible experience,” she recounted.

“Returning two decades later, wearing the same boots, corset, and the Gucci jacket I had on back then, feels like a meaningful full circle moment,” she added.

Madonna also humorously noted the novelty of performing alongside a shorter artist.

“This might be the first time I’ve shared a stage with someone shorter than me. Thank you for that experience,” she joked.

Sabrina replied with a cheerful “Amen!”
