Taylor Swift Makes a Subtle Entrance at 2026 Grammys After-Party

Taylor Swift enjoyed a quiet yet memorable evening celebrating music’s biggest night in 2026.

While she was absent from the Grammy Awards ceremony itself on February 1, the acclaimed singer-songwriter appeared at a post-show party in Los Angeles. A social media clip captured Taylor, 36, engaging warmly with guests over a cocktail.

For the occasion, Taylor chose a timeless ensemble featuring a black long-sleeved top with a scoop neckline. She complemented the look with her iconic red lipstick, layered gold necklaces, and sleek, straight hair.

Requests for comment from Taylor’s representatives about her Grammy night attendance went unanswered by E! News.

Despite her numerous past appearances on the Grammys red carpet, Taylor was not present alongside stars like Lady Gaga, Tyler, The Creator, and Bruno Mars during the event hosted by Trevor Noah for his final time. The reason behind her absence is straightforward: Taylor did not release any new music during the eligibility period for the 2026 Grammys (August 31, 2024, to August 30, 2025), thus she had no nominations this year.

Her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl, debuted on October 3, which was after the eligibility cutoff, but it positions her for continued recognition in the 2027 Grammy Awards, where she hopes to extend her record-breaking streak in the Album of the Year category.

Although Taylor didn’t add to her impressive tally of 14 Grammys this year, she had plenty of reasons to celebrate as many of her collaborators and friends, including Kendrick Lamar and Sabrina Carpenter, earned nominations.

Kendrick Lamar, who previously collaborated with Taylor on “Bad Blood,” emerged as one of the night’s biggest winners. He took home four awards, including Best Rap Album, surpassing Jay-Z as the most decorated rapper in Grammy history.

On stage, the 38-year-old rapper shared, "I'm not great at talking about myself, but I express it through my music. Every time I say this: hip hop will always be right here. We'll be suited up, looking sharp, surrounded by our people and our culture." He concluded with gratitude, "I appreciate y’all. To God be the glory. Love y’all."
